On June 16, 2005, Gabe Heller gave permission for material to be hosted at the Archive:

Re: Confirm setup of Gabe Heller section in Live Music Archive?

Gabe wrote:
I'm a folk artist so my recordings are only barely studio recordings, in that I didn't have a studio for most of them, just my home PC, a guitar, a mandolin, a mic and a simple tracking program. Very little production has gone into them.... I have never done a full live show, but I have performed live at open mics and some of what I have done has been recorded. I did not do any of the recording and do not have any of the recordings, so I cannot contribute live tracks, yet I would like for any fans of mine who wish to upload live recordings of me to be able to do so....

I submitted these recordings of mine to the archive as they are freely available from me on my website anyway. I have albums for sale, e-mail me at ghellerATia.net for some. Some videos of me may be available for borrowing from Leslie Ball at leslieATleslieballcom. I perform fairly regularly at her midnight cabaret at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis, MN. As far as I'm concerned, if you have tapes of my stuff, spread them far and wide! (as of 2005) It's not like I'm making a lot of money off this anyway, but if no one hears me, then how am I ever going to?
